Schwarzenegger’s 10 & Predator is 25!

Predator, not only one of Arnold’s best films but also one of the greatest science fiction films ever made, turns 25 years old today! Released on June 12th, 1987, Predator, directed by John Mc McTiernan of Die Hard fame, starred a stogie smoker, a pencil pusher, Tyrannosaurus, joker, grenade launcher, Indian tracker, ex Green Beret along with one ugly mother f**ker. The film created a legion of cosplay Predator fans who attend comic conventions and merchandising remains strong with this very popular franchise. Most impressive of all, Predator remains a top favorite action film by men and women throughout the world. Even "That 70’s Show" Laura Prepon says Predator is her favorite film of all time! Fans remain hopeful that Schwarzenegger may one day return as the iconic Major Alan “Dutch Shaefer.

In other movie news, Schwarzenegger’s upcoming movie Ten now has an American and German distributor. Splendid, the German-based distributor, stocked up on mainstream action at this year’s Cannes Marche du Film, taking all rights in German-speaking Europe and Benelux for Ten, the new thriller from Street Kings director David Ayer starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Joe Roth is one of the producers of Ten, which Open Road has picked up for a U.S. release.
