Considering Arnold has been spotted all over New Orleans over the last six weeks, TheArnoldFans decided to get our ass to The Big Easy and see what details and tidbits I could unearth from The Tomb! Before I share a few photos with you, let me confirm that there will in fact be a Helicopter! It’s just not an Arnold movie unless there’s a “choppah” scene and The Tomb has one doozie of a choppah action sequence!!  I learned about the scene from the locals who encountered the filming first hand, but to describe it would involve spoilers… so you’ll just have to wait until the film’s release.

Recently there have been a couple of websites showing Stallone and Arnold in the French Quarter of New Orleans, so with my  OPUSX stogie in hand, I decided to search out these film sites. First I strolled through Jackson Square, were Arnold was earlier seen looking like a Ballsy Colonel Sanders.

After the Jackson Square location, a drink was in order on Bourbon Street. I entered Fritzel's, the same establishment where Stallone was found waving to below crowds.

I entered the bar and learned several things about the shoot here by the bartender who was working while the Expendables star was filming. Sitting at the bar having a drink, I was told that all the filming took place upstairs and lasted about four days. Although no filming occurred in the bar, Sly did come down on his breaks and had a drink where I sat.  On my visit this day, I only had a beer here but it’s very possible the next time I go to Fritzel's that there will be a new drink called The Tomb! Cheers!
